Wedding Planner in Marrakech — Amélie
I'm Amélie, a wedding planner based in Marrakech. Since 2022, I've helped over 120 international couples get married here, and I still love every single one.
My job is to take the stress off your shoulders so you can actually enjoy this. I know the city, I know the vendors, I know which riad has the best light at sunset and which caterer will make your French mother-in-law cry happy tears. You tell me what you want. I make it happen.
Let's talk about your wedding:

What I do
We start with a call. You tell me what moves you, what your wedding should feel like. From there I build the concept: colours, flowers, lighting, stationery, table settings, every detail down to the napkin fold. I work with a small circle of Marrakech artisans I trust completely. On the day, my team and I run everything so you don't think about logistics for a second.
I live in Gueliz, ten minutes from the Medina. I've been inside every venue worth considering, from Royal Mansour and La Mamounia to quiet riads most planners don't know about. I'll arrange private visits, tell you honestly what works for your guest count and budget, and negotiate the contract. Whether it's 40 people in a courtyard or 300 in a palace garden, I'll find the right place.
Catering, flowers, photographer, DJ, transport, hotel blocks, airport transfers, the welcome dinner, the brunch the morning after. I coordinate all of it. I speak the language, I know the rates, and I've worked with these people for years. Your guests arrive, everything is taken care of, and you get to be a guest at your own wedding.
Why Marrakech?
People ask me why Marrakech. Honestly, once you've been here you stop asking. The light, the colours, the warmth. It's the kind of place that makes a wedding feel like something out of a film, except it's real and it's yours.
The climate
300 days of sunshine a year. Spring and autumn are the sweet spot: 20 to 28°C, roses in bloom, long golden evenings. I've planned weddings in every month and I'll tell you which one suits your vision best.
The venues
Riads with candlelit courtyards, palace gardens at Royal Mansour, Selman, La Mamounia. Open-air dinners in the Agafay desert with the Atlas Mountains behind you. Marrakech has venues you simply won't find anywhere else.
Getting here
Direct flights from Paris, London, Amsterdam, Madrid, New York. Your guests land at Marrakech Menara and from that moment, we take care of everything on the ground.
Kind words from our couples
“We gave Amélie a Pinterest board and a vague idea. She came back with something ten times better. I still can't believe that was our wedding.”

Your Questions About Planning a Wedding in Marrakech
It depends on the guest count, the venue, and how far you want to go with the details. Most of my weddings fall between €30,000 and €200,000. I work across that full range and I'll be upfront about costs from the start.
We recommend reaching out 12–18 months before your preferred date for peak season (March–May and October–November). Last-minute requests are considered based on availability.
Yes — the vast majority of our couples travel from France, Europe, and beyond. We handle all on-the-ground Marrakech logistics: venue scouting, vendor coordination, guest accommodation, and full day-of management, so you are completely free to enjoy your day.
Spring (March to May) and autumn (October to November). The temperatures are perfect, the gardens are green, and the light is incredible. These months fill up fast, so book early.
